Directions for Use:
Apply a small amount to your face, avoiding eyes and lips. Using fingertips, rub in a gentle circular motion and then rinse clean. Most effective if used 2-3 times per week. This treatment is most effective if followed by Maritime Naturals Vitamin C Serum and Retinol Moisturizer. The freshly exfoliated skin should also be protected from the sun and we recommend the use of sunscreen or avoidance of direct sunlight for a few days after use.

As we age, our skin's natural exfoliating process, which was activated every 6 to 8 weeks in our youth, has slowed down. How often should I exfoliate?

This will depend on your skin type. Typically, two to three times per week is enough for normal skin types, provided your skin is not irritated. Those with particularly sensitive skin may only want to exfoliate once or twice a week, whereas people with oily or combination skin can easily exfoliate three times a week. Exfoliating more often than this is not recommended as overdoing it can strip your skin of its organic oils and may result in irritation. 

How do I exfoliate?

Using it is simple: Apply a small amount to your face, avoiding the eyes and lips. Using fingertips, rub in a gentle circular motion - don’t be tempted to scrub harshly! After rinsing clean, complete the process with your favourite serum and moisturizer.
