Good value

I haven't used this product much yet, but it has helped for my extra tired eye days so far.

Light scent, absorbs pretty fast

I've used a lot of Maritime Naturals products, I'm not quite as in love with this eye cream versus some of their other face creams I've tried but it still provides nice results. My only criticism is it's a little bit heavy and slightly oily going on, but it does absorb reasonably fast. The texture is nice. Not something I'd use in the day with makeup but it works well before bed. It's gentle on the skin and moisturizes well, the skin feels tighter and plumper at the same time if that makes sense. The scent isn't my favourite, but it's also light and doesn't last long. This is a Canadian company which I can appreciate. I think if you're looking for a cream to moisturize that very delicate skin under your eyes this is worth a try. But I would only recommend for night time use or when you're not going to use makeup shortly after.

Lovely eye cream but a little too heavy for me during the day with eye makeup

I quite like this eye cream so far, but I was hoping it would be good for daytime use, however its actually a bit too rich and oily I find. It migrates into my eyes a bit and can cause non-waterproof mascara to smudge. It contains a ton of lovely ingredients many antioxidants and soothing, moisturizing skin-softening ingredients. It also contains two that I wish were not included, like the palm oil (3rd ingredient terrible to use this when it provides no unique skin benefit), I could do without that completely and just use the rest of the oils (sunflower, jojoba oil, shea butter) as the heavy emollients. Bergamot oil is also included, for fragrance purposes I assume, and its a known potential allergen and can cause skin sensitivity and irritation.Aside from those nitpicks, this eye cream is absolutely chock-full of awesome skin beneficial ingredients that I often specifically look for when purchasing skin care products for myself. I love seeing Aloe Vera as the first ingredient (highest volume in the formula), along with hyaluronic acid, green tea extract (soothing antioxidant), caffeine (may help to de-puff and brighten tired under-eyes), and licorice root extract (for brightening).I love that it comes in an airless pump bottle instead of a squeeze tube or jar/pot container, as the antioxidant ingredients are protected from premature degradation caused by air exposure or bacteria introduced through unhygienic fingers dipping into a jar. It dispenses a nice amount with just one pump!I mainly like this for nighttime use, not so much for the day, as Im already a fairly oily person with oily hooded lids.INGREDIENTS:Aloe Barbardensis (Organic Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Aqua (Deionized Water), Isopropyl Palmitate (Palm Oil), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Plant Based Hyaluronic Acid), Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin (Kosher Vegetable), Collagen (Vegetable Collagen), Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate (Probiotics), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Caffeine, Stearic Acid, Simmondsia Chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic Shea) Butter, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Ganoderma Lucidum (Organic Reishi/ Kojic Acid) Extract, Glycolic Acid, Salix Lucida (Organic Willow/Salicylic Acid) Bark Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Organic Licorice) Root Extract, Melissa Officinalis (Organic Lemon Balm) Leaf Extract, Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail Plant) Leaf Extract, Taraxacum Officinale (Organic Dandelion) Root Extract, Centella Asiatica (Organic Gotu Kola) Leaf Extract, Panax Quinquefolius (Ginseng) Root Extract, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Pimpinella Anisum (Anise) Seed Extract, Cochlearia Armoracia (Organic Horseradish) Root Extract, Schisandra Chinensis (Organic Schisandra) Extract, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Geranium Maculatum (Wild Geranium) Leaf Extract, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Initially heavy after application, but turns light & airy after awhile

This the first time I tried a Maritime Natural Probiotic product; didnt have much expectation so just want to see what it does.I like how gentle it is on my skin after putting it on a leaving it for a while. It has a bit of thick feel initially when applied, but once dried, its not noticeable. Afterwards, it my skin feels light and airy, and the scent dissipates leaving only a light scent. After a couple of weeks of usage, it hasnt really done much to improve my combo-type skin, so unfortunately, Ill have to move on.

Mixed Results: Burning Sensation versus No Issue

I was really looking forward to trying this probiotic and collagen eye cream as my husband and I have used Maritime Naturals products and have had good experiences. The cream has a very light scent, almost odourless which I like. The texture is thick and creamy and goes on smooth but leaves a bit of oily residue. The pump dispenser works well and you can twist the cap open too.My experience was that I had a burning sensation and it left red blotches on my skin. I used it a second time to see if it would be different, but it was the same. Perhaps it was an allergic reaction or something. My husband tried it and he indicated that it was fine for him. I would rate it a 2 and my husband gives it a 4, so our average score is 3 stars.
