Nice light lavender aroma. Light-weight quick-absorbing cream.
OVERALL:Very light-weighted and gets absorbed in no time (you dont feel or smell it after a short while). Hydrating for sure but maybe not the most moisturizing (doesnt feel moisture locked-in). I got it at $29.98 (and its now $28.48) which is fair price for the good jar of product. Cruelty free and not tested on animal+ 27 listed ingredients, not the purest product, but I think it works fine even on my more sensitive area (around eyes).PROS:+ Its rich but it doesnt stick.+ It has a nice lavender smell, but only very light and doesnt linger long.+ Includes sunflower seed oil, collagen, vitamin B5, E, and Retinol+ True to its description, it leaves skin feeling smooth and primed.CONS:- It doesnt lock-in moisture, so after the cream is fully absorbed I feel exposed (Im actually used to more textured cream). So I have to put on other heavier cream if I feel particularly dry (like during winter time). And I already have oily/combination skin. Took off 1-star for this.- Ive kept using it for over a month now, twice a day. I didnt notice any improvement in skin problems (fine line, dry skin etc.), but it does work well as the normal day & night cream. Maybe its already doing its work by protecting my skin from further aging so that I dont notice differences (because other parts of my body do look drier these days in the fall/winter season)!USER EXPERIENCE:I like it a lot myself. Although Im more used to heavier cream to provide more moisture, this is still enough to last me throughout the day, especially during the time when I have more breakouts or hotter days. Really like the scent: not heavy, but relaxing and feeling clean and refreshed. I feel confident in using the product with its detailed product description, origin, and seller info. You can look them up on their website and social media. Well developed company.
Beautiful lush cream, maritime made. Smells of lavender. :)
This cream is actually really lush of feel. It is thicker and goes on really smooth on the face and the smell of lavender is BLISS, when you are putting it on. I love it but what I found is that my skin looked moisturized upon putting it on, but not so much throughout the day or even an hour after. Now this could be contributed to a variety of factors but I know with other creams I've used they've had a little more longevity.I also do use a serum with this to help keep the moisture in longer. But overall a great day cream, that is lighter on the skin so probably better for fall, spring. I just don't know if it would provide longevity during the day concerning the heavy moisture you'd need for winters. Since I walk my dog a lot outdoors, keeping my skin moisturized is key for me. :)
Good daily moisturizer with a light lavender scent
Lighter than cream but a little heavier than lotion, easy to spread, and layers well under sunscreen. It does a fairly good job moisturizing the skin without making the skin oily (I have oily to combination skin) but it doesnt last all day. I need to re-apply at least once every 4 hours to keep my skin moisturized. It contains retinol so it is important to wear sunscreen after using this. Even though it contains retinol, it is still gentle enough for my very sensitive skin. Not scent free but The lavender scent is very subtle. I am not a big fan of this scent but it is so light that it doesnt really bother me. It is inexpensive and it gets the job done.
Great ingredients list
I like the ingredients list for this face cream. It contains jojoba oil, retinol and vitamin e among other ingredients. This makes it a good choice for me to apply on my face. Its lightly scented and easily absorbed into the skin. Theres enough in the little tub to last a while since its just for use on the face. It moisturizes well and I intend to continue use for an extended period of time to reap the benefits.
I didnt like the smell of it, it works okay
